Clear about Career

Clear about Career.

Being “clear about career” is central to the York St John University’s philosophy. We know that a decision to undertake a Masters degree is often motivated by a desire to enhance and advance your career opportunities.

Our clear about career philosophy is demonstrated in three important ways.

  1. Each of our degrees is aligned to a clear career path.
  2. Industry placements are a core feature of all our programmes. This means you can gain direct work experience and insights while you study.
  3. Engagement with industry leaders through masterclasses, hosted projects and corporate visits will enhance your business networks and provide you with an insider’s view to develop your career path.

We know that you are globally-aware and tech-minded. You are interested and inspired by the latest innovations and developments in products, services and experiences. With this in mind, our London campus will serve as a dynamic and engaging home of learning that brings together thought-leaders, creators and influencers to find new solutions to create a better future for you and the world.

Our Industry Leader Masterclass will allow you to engage with new ideas as and when these emerge. The Consultancy Projects, which will serve as a central part of your learning, will ensure that you develop a range of skills which will serve you well as you develop your career.

Our annual skills month initiative will give you the opportunity to gain further knowledge, develop new skills and gain insights beyond what is contained within your course curriculum.
